CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING, AND REFUND POLICY

Effective Date: August 26, 2026

Last Updated: August 26, 2026

This Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Refund Policy (“Policy”) applies to tutoring, educational consulting, AMP+ memberships, digital products, courses, packages, and other services offered by Ascent Medical Prep LLC, doing business as Ascent Medical Prep, AMP, and AMP+ (“AMP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By booking an appointment, purchasing a product or package, or subscribing to AMP+, you acknowledge and agree to this Policy and our Terms of Service.

Nothing in this Policy limits any cancellation, refund, or consumer-protection right that cannot legally be waived.

1. Tutoring and educational consulting appointments

Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance

A tutoring or educational-consulting appointment may be canceled or rescheduled without penalty when AMP receives the request at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

When eligible, the customer may choose to:

  • Reschedule the appointment;

  • Receive an account credit; or

  • Request a refund to the original payment method.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance

An appointment canceled less than 24 hours before its scheduled start time is considered a late cancellation.

Late cancellations are generally nonrefundable and may be treated as completed appointments. AMP may, at its sole discretion, offer a one-time rescheduling accommodation or account credit in cases involving a documented emergency or other exceptional circumstances.

An exception granted on one occasion does not waive this Policy for future appointments.

No-shows

A participant is considered a no-show when the participant:

- Does not attend the appointment;

- Has not requested cancellation or rescheduling before the appointment;

- Is unavailable through the agreed meeting platform; or

- Arrives so late that the appointment can no longer be meaningfully conducted.

No-shows are treated as completed appointments and are not eligible for a refund, credit, or replacement session.

Late arrivals

Appointments begin and end at the scheduled times.

A participant who arrives late is not entitled to additional time, a prorated refund, or an automatic rescheduling. The instructor or consultant may provide the remaining portion of the appointment if doing so remains reasonably practical.

If the participant is more than 15 minutes late and has not communicated with AMP, the appointment may be treated as a no-show.

2. Cancellations or delays by AMP

If AMP cancels an appointment, the customer may choose:

- A rescheduled appointment;

- An account credit; or

- A refund for the affected appointment.

If an AMP instructor or consultant arrives late, AMP will extend the appointment when reasonably possible. If an extension is not practical, AMP may provide an appropriate credit or prorated adjustment.

AMP is not responsible for delays or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including internet failures, power outages, severe weather, illness, platform outages, governmental actions, or other force-majeure events. AMP will make reasonable efforts to reschedule an appointment materially affected by such circumstances.

3. Technical difficulties

Customers are responsible for maintaining:

- A reliable internet connection;

- A compatible device;

- Working audio and video when required; and

- Access to the designated meeting platform.

Technical problems on the customer’s side do not ordinarily qualify for a refund. AMP may provide reasonable troubleshooting assistance or a discretionary rescheduling accommodation.

If an appointment cannot be conducted because of a technical failure within AMP’s control, AMP will offer rescheduling, account credit, or a refund for the materially affected portion.

4. Tutoring and consulting packages

Packages are governed by the description and expiration terms disclosed at purchase.

Unless otherwise stated:

- Package sessions are personal to the purchaser or designated student;

- Sessions may not be transferred, resold, exchanged, or redeemed for cash;

- Sessions must be used before the expiration date disclosed at purchase;

- Failure to schedule or use sessions before expiration does not automatically qualify for a refund;

- Late cancellations and no-shows may be deducted from the package as completed sessions; and

- Purchasing a package does not guarantee the availability of a particular instructor, consultant, date, or time.

Refunds for unused packages

A request to cancel an entirely unused package may be considered if submitted within seven calendar days after purchase.

If approved, AMP may deduct:

- Payment-processing fees that are not returned to AMP;

- Any disclosed administrative charges permitted by law; and

- The full, non-discounted price of any sessions, consultations, materials, or benefits already used.

Once any part of a package has been used, the remaining package is generally nonrefundable except where required by law or where AMP permanently discontinues the purchased Service without providing a reasonable substitute.

5. Educational-consulting deliverables

Educational-consulting purchases may include written recommendations, document feedback, application review, study plans, reports, or other customized deliverables.

A consulting fee compensates AMP for time reserved, research performed, professional analysis, meetings conducted, and deliverables prepared. A customer is not entitled to a refund merely because the customer:

- Disagrees with a recommendation;

- Decides not to use the recommendation;

- Changes academic or professional plans;

- Does not obtain a desired grade, score, admission, interview, scholarship, or other result; or

- Fails to provide requested materials or information by an agreed deadline.

If AMP has begun performing customized consulting work, the amount attributable to completed work is nonrefundable. AMP may provide a partial refund for work not yet performed when appropriate.

Revision limits and deadlines disclosed in the applicable service description, proposal, or written agreement control for that engagement. Failure to request revisions within the stated period does not entitle the customer to additional work or a refund.

6. AMP+ recurring memberships

AMP+ may be offered as a monthly or annual automatically renewing membership.

By subscribing, the customer authorizes AMP and its payment processor to charge the selected payment method at the disclosed billing interval until cancellation.

Canceling AMP+

A member may cancel through the account or subscription-management features available on the AMP website. If those features are unavailable, the member may request assistance by contacting SUPPORT@ASCENTMEDICALPREP.COM .

Cancellation must be completed before the next renewal charge to prevent the following billing cycle.

After cancellation:

- No additional renewal charges will be made;

- Access will ordinarily continue through the end of the current paid billing period;

- Cancellation does not ordinarily create a prorated refund; and

- Deleting an account or ceasing to use AMP+ does not, by itself, cancel the subscription.

AMP+ refund requests

AMP+ payments are generally nonrefundable after the applicable membership period begins.

AMP may consider a refund when:

- The customer was charged after properly canceling before the renewal date;

- A duplicate or incorrect charge occurred;

- Unauthorized use of the payment method is substantiated;

- A material technical failure within AMP’s control prevented meaningful access for a substantial portion of the billing period; or

- A refund is required by law.

Failure to use AMP+, forgetting to cancel, dissatisfaction with available content, or a change in personal circumstances does not ordinarily qualify for a refund.

7. Digital products, downloads, and recorded courses

Digital products may include downloadable files, worksheets, study guides, flashcards, recorded lessons, question sets, templates, or other immediately accessible materials.

Because digital products cannot ordinarily be returned, sales of digital products are final once the product has been downloaded, accessed, delivered, or made available to the purchaser.

A refund may be provided if:

- The customer was charged more than once for the same purchase;

- The wrong product was delivered;

- The file is materially defective and AMP cannot provide a working replacement;

- AMP cannot provide access to the purchased product; or

- A refund is required by law.

A customer is not entitled to a refund because the customer no longer wants the product, did not review its description, did not download it before an access deadline, or did not achieve a particular academic result.

8. Promotions, discounts, and bundled offers

Refunds do not include the cash value of promotional codes, free bonuses, referral credits, complimentary materials, or other noncash benefits.

When a discounted bundle is partially refunded, AMP may recalculate the retained Services at their regular individual prices and deduct their value from the refund.

A promotion may contain separate refund or expiration terms. Those terms will be disclosed before purchase and will control if they conflict with this Policy.

9. Duplicate, incorrect, or unauthorized charges

Customers should report duplicate, incorrect, or suspected unauthorized charges promptly to SUPPORT@ASCENTMEDICALPREP.COM.

The request should include:

- The purchaser’s name;

- The account email address;

- The date and amount of the charge;

- The Service associated with the charge; and

- A brief explanation of the issue.

Do not send complete credit-card or bank-account numbers by email.

AMP may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify the transaction. Verified billing errors will be corrected, and any amount improperly charged will be refunded.

10. How to request cancellation, rescheduling, or a refund

Requests must be submitted through the applicable booking or account-management system or by email to: SUPPORT@ASCENTMEDICALPREP.COM

A request should include:

- The purchaser’s full name;

- The account email address;

- The Service or appointment involved;

- The scheduled appointment date, if applicable;

- The transaction date and amount; and

- The requested resolution.

A request is not complete until it is successfully submitted. Customers are responsible for retaining the confirmation email or other cancellation record.

The timestamp recorded by AMP’s booking, account, or email system determines whether a request satisfies a cancellation deadline.

11. Refund method and processing time

Approved refunds will ordinarily be returned to the original payment method.

AMP will generally initiate an approved refund within five to ten business days. The customer’s bank or payment provider may require additional time to post the credit.

AMP cannot control or accelerate processing performed by a bank, card issuer, Squarespace, Stripe, or another payment processor.

Payment-processing fees will be handled as required by applicable law and the applicable processor’s rules.

12. Chargebacks and payment disputes

Customers are encouraged to contact AMP before initiating a chargeback so that AMP has a reasonable opportunity to investigate and correct the issue.

Nothing in this Policy prevents a customer from disputing an unauthorized or erroneous charge through a payment provider.

Knowingly submitting a false, misleading, fraudulent, or abusive chargeback may result in suspension or termination of AMP services. AMP may provide purchase records, policy-acceptance records, appointment records, access logs, communications, and cancellation records to the payment processor when responding to a dispute.

13. Termination for misconduct

AMP may terminate an appointment, account, membership, or consulting engagement when a participant engages in:

- Harassment, threats, discrimination, or abusive behavior;

- Fraud or payment abuse;

- Academic dishonesty;

- Unauthorized account sharing;

- Theft, recording, copying, or distribution of AMP materials;

- Security violations; or

- Other unlawful or seriously disruptive conduct.

Refund eligibility following termination will depend on the circumstances and applicable law. AMP is not required to refund Services already delivered or losses caused by the customer’s material violation of our Terms of Service.

14. Changes to this Policy

AMP may update this Policy to reflect changes in our Services, practices, or legal obligations.

The Policy in effect when a one-time purchase is made ordinarily governs that purchase. Changes affecting future subscription renewals will be communicated when required by law.

The “Last Updated” date at the top identifies the most recent revision.
